Made With At Least 70% Recycled Materials For this special edition of Essens, we collected and disassembled old suitcases, including pre-owned suitcases that customers brought to our stores. After disassembly, the shells are shredded and mixed with other post-consumer recycled content to create the new suitcase shells.

  • 100% by weight of the pull handle tubes are made with post-consumer recycled aluminium.

  • The wheel is designed in such a way that it can easily be disassembled & repaired by yourself. In the unlikely event that your Essens needs to be repaired, the components can be easily replaced.

Interior Features

  • 100% by weight of the interior webbing and interior lining and at least 95% by weight of the interior zipper are made with post-consumer recycled PET plastic, the equivalent of 15 plastic water bottles (0,5L - 20g).
  • Interior modularity - removable structured pocket can be attached on the door panel, used as a divider panel for the main compartment, or removed and washed.
  • One oversized packing space divides into two distinct, large compartments for a customized packing experience.
  • Dual divider panels - one on each side.
